WALT: Solve maths problems using place value and basic facts.
This activity was quite easy surprisingly... But it was a fun way to learn and I would like to do a harder version of this in the future. We had to get into groups of 4 at the maximum. We had 3 instead and had to figure out how many ways we could write 679 in math problems.
Can you think of a different way?

Hi Jasmine its Trent here I like how you explained how this worked. Next time you could make it look a little better by changing the color and font of the words on the DLO.
ReplyDeleteKia Ora Jasmine! It's me Kyra from Totara 3! I like your post about how many ways you can write a number because it is clear to read. I also like how you asked the public if they could figure out another way to write the number.
ReplyDeleteThis reminds me of expanding numbers in maths. You did it in your google drawing as well.
This is an amazing post and I can't think of anything you can work on. Can't wait to see more awesome posts!
Anyway, would six hundred and seventy nine count as a way to write it?
