Colour poems

Hello and welcome back to my blog! Today I am blogging about colour poems. We had to write a poem about colours using our five senses. Here are mine.

I found making these poems really fun! Mainly because I didn't have to rhyme which I'm not bad at but particularly great at either. I also found for whatever reason I really just genuinely enjoyed writing these poems to the point I went home and wrote more. I actually would really like to recommend trying to write one of these poems! They are really fun to make!

Luckily / Unluckily Story.

Hello today I'm making an um... Interesting? luckily/unluckily story. Have fun reading (run while you still can)!

One day as I was sitting on my bed a yellow and blue monster appeared! Luckily it was just a chair and was half my height so I moved it and went back to what I was doing. Unluckily the chair brought it's friends and they all had swords! Luckily I just so happened to have a sword sitting against my bed so I picked it up and was ready to attack! Unluckily I couldn't beat them and fell over and accidentally tossed my sword across the room. Luckily my brain decided to work and I remembered that they are chairs that are half my height and aren't heavy so I picked the chairs up and threw them outside.

Thanks for reading my, um, never mind, that was probably torture for your brain cells. You should have a go at writing a luckily, unluckily story yourself!

My top ten favourite things to hate!

Hello fellow humans! (Or whatever you are) Today I'm going to tell you my top ten favourite things to HATE! (I didn't know what to do a top ten on okay?)

10. When people think they know it all.

9. Water bottles that make your water taste like plastic.

8. When you can't find something cold to eat on a hot day.

7. SOCIAL INTERACTION!

6. When people touch everything in your house.

5. When people make a mess in your room and then leave before they can help you clean and then your parents decide it's your fault and get mad at you.

3. When my parents listen to songs that suck then tries to tell me that when I'm older I'll like that kind of song too.

2. When I'm forced to eat food that I don't like or tastes bad.

1. When people have the guts to steal my food!

What's been on the news this week? Lime scooters.

Recently the Auckland transport authority has been removing Lime Scooters from the city.

Recently the Auckland transport authority has been removing Lime Scooters from the city because of the injuries due to the scooters breaks locking up and sometimes causing the riders to go over the handle bars. 

As one of the people this glitch happened to I think that Lime Scooters cause pain and suffering but i'm glad the problem is being dealt with. (Even though I didn't go over the handle bars I still wanna kick over any Lime scooter I see because they cause PAIN and SUFFERING!) 

Place Value Problem Solving.

Today we had to make a copy of a google drawing choose a number and write a problem for others to solve. Here is mine.

I liked this activity because I got to write a lot.

I found this activity fun because I got to find funny gifs.

Problem solving Week 6 Term 1

WALT: Solve maths problems using place value and basic facts.

This activity was quite easy surprisingly... But it was a fun way to learn and I would like to do a harder version of this in the future. We had to get into groups of 4 at the maximum. We had 3 instead and had to figure out how many ways we could write 679 in math problems.
