Identity Poem - Jasmine - T1W3 2020

Last week we made an Identity Poem following a structure that Miss Hines found for us. Here is mine.

After we write down all of the poem we added pictures that were to do with our Identity Poem. I found this writing task easy and fun to do since we didn't have to make it like your usual poem which I struggle at writing. I also enjoyed putting all the pictures in because I got to put Rara around 'hiding' everywhere which I think is a good touch to this post.

My super power!

This week Shoshy came in and taught us about our super powers A.K.A things we are good at. I choose drawing as that is the main thing that I think of when trying to figure out what I'm good at. We then had to make a google drawing write down out super power and skills that we are learning for it. Here's mine.

Rotational Symmetry Art

Recently in class we started to mathematical art. We had to choose out of Enlargement, Rotational Symmetry or Tessellation. I decided to do Rotational Symmetry since I wanted to make a Mandala. (Which is way harder then it looks).  Here is a picture of my mandala so far.

This week for maths we have been focusing on Transformation. We were told to make a transformation DLO here is mine.

Camp Vocabulary task - Term 2

Before we went on camp we had a activity called Vocabulary we were given some words based around the hot pools and then we had to go research our word that we chose and do a google drawing about. Here is mine.

(Don't question the dolphin thing) I found this activity very interesting since I'd never heard of a thermal column before.  

Google My Maps Camp activity.

Recently we went on camp to Hanmer Springs but a little bit before camp we had to do a google my map on the route we would take to get from School to Hanmer. Here's my Map.

To me this activity was quite confusing because I've never used Google My Maps but eventually I got used to it though making it much easier.
